Watching people and animals fascinates me.  The desire to share what I was seeing and feeling in living creatures led me to seek training in figure drawing.  It became my passion.  What were these people or animals all about?  What were they thinking or feeling?  How can my drawings be refined to the simplest shapes that convey these things?  My intention is not to invade the privacy of the subject, but rather to show what thoughts or feelings are being emanated from inside.  Sometimes the eyes draw me as a point of entry.  At other times the body language speaks to me first.  May you sense the playful, caring interest and respect that I feel when creating these works.  May the beauty and dignity of these living creatures come alive and enchant you as they have me.
